FAQ

What should I wear for my photoshoot

I recommend wearing something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Solid colors or simple patterns work best, and avoid anything too flashy or distracting/busy patterns. I'll send you a mood board with ideas of options, but if you're unsure, feel free to send me a few outfit options, and I can help you decide!

What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

No worries! If it’s an outdoor shoot and the weather isn’t ideal, as it often is unpredictable in St. John's, Newfoundland, we can embrace it, reschedule or look for an indoor location. I’ll work with you to make sure your session happens, rain or shine.

Do you provide a second shooter for weddings or large events?

All of my wedding packages include a photography assistant, this is to ensure that I am working efficiently and I have a second pair of hands if I need them. For an additional cost, he can also be a second shooter upon request. If this is something you'd like to add, please let me know!

Can I bring props to my photoshoot?

Absolutely! Props can add a fun, personal touch to your photos. Whether it’s a special item, a blanket, or something that reflects your personality, I’m happy to incorporate them into your session.

How long does it take to receive my photos after the shoot?

You will receive sneak peeks photos, regardless of the type of shoot, within 2 days of the event. Typically, you can expect to receive your photos for portraits and other shoots within 2 weeks of the day of the shoot. Weddings and elopements take a little bit longer because of the quantity of photos as well as the detail entailed, depending how busy I am during the season, photos can take anywhere from 6-8 weeks for final delivery. I always strive to deliver them as quickly as possible while ensuring each image is carefully edited and perfected.

Are you LGBTQIA+ friendly?

Yes! I proudly support the LGBTQIA+ community and strive to create a welcoming, inclusive environment for all. No matter who you love or how you identify, I’m here to capture your unique story with respect and celebration.
