who's behind the lens?

Hi, I’m Crystal! I’m a wedding, elopement and lifestyle photographer based in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. I specialize in capturing candid, intimate, silly moments through my lens. Whether it’s weddings, family portraits or maternity, birthdays, sporting events, or headshots, I love telling unique stories.

My journey with photography started when I was a child, thanks to my dad. He had a love for photography, and I often found myself admiring him capture the world through his lens. Though my dad passed away when I was just 10, photography has always been a way for me to stay connected to him. It's not just about taking pictures; it's about preserving moments and emotions that have meaning.


That connection is what fuels my passion for capturing the essence of people’s stories and memories.


When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me at home with my husband, Brady, and our dog, Hank, watching a good TV show or movie. I also love curling up with a good book on a rainy day, getting lost in another world.


If we're not at home we're most likely exploring the outdoors with our cameras, whether we’re hiking a scenic east coast trail or simply soaking in the fresh air around town. Freezing our own memories in time.
